Injection molding (IML)
Injection molding (IML)
Injection molding is a manufacturing process based on injecting molten thermoplastic polymer into a mold with high pressure and having this molten mass cooled and hardened in the mold with an eye to take the shape of the mold. The decorated product is obtained by fusing the IML label placed inside the mold with the molten polymer during the injection.
Injection molding is the most commonly employed manufacturing process labels in the IML technology. Inasmuch as this technology is utilized in a wide range from production of 100-gram mini sauce containers up to 25 kg chemical buckets and it has a vast variety of raw materials used in labels, it provides the manufacturers with great benefits in terms of production of purpose-oriented solutions.
